Earwig
Something has been eating our flowers, especially our marigolds. Some plants have been completely devoured. We thought it was happening at night, so we went outside in the dark looking for snails, which love marigolds. Instead, we found earwigs. Dozens of earwigs. It turns out that they are nocturnal and eat flowers. They have a pincer on their rear end that looks really tough, but it's just for protection.
