Bird Skeleton
The cats killed a robin (or similar ) last summer and left it as a gift for me. I put it in my "rot box" and after a few days, just the skeleton and feathers remained. I placed the remains in a solution of liquid plumber and water for a while , then rinsed and mounted the skeleton. Some neck vertebra were missing, so I used a wire to replace them. I used PVC glue to secure some of the loose joints and to attach the feet to a piece of PVC pipe. The next time, I will use a hot glue gun. It should do better. I took both photos with an Olympus D-200L Digital Camera in high resolution, macro mode with flash.
